Ethoscopy Workflow
Design: Plan your experiment
Run and Record: Using your machine of choice (although we recommend the Ethoscope), record your behavioural variables over time.
Metadata: Create a .csv file that details the conditions and experimental variables for each individual specimen. Head to the metadata section next for more detailed instructions
Load and link: If you're using the ethoscope system the metadata file can be used to download from your remote ftp servers. Next the metadata is linked to the results to facilitate quick transformation and analysis.
Manipulate: Using the inbuilt methods and pandas's own framework you can manipulate your data to your liking, ready for visualisation.
